Getting Nowhere Syndrome: The challenge of the midway point for Postgraduate Research Students and how we can support them: Melanie Petch

Melanie evaluates the challenges faced in supporting PhD students through the journey of their first idea until the reality of their finished work. She reflects on the massive academic and emotional challenges of the process and concludes that a more effective bespoke online process needs to be developed for the PGR programme which should make it easier for tutors to support the students through their work.
