The clip analyses the research carried out by Rob in the Music School with the Music Technology students. This evaluated the transition from FE courses such as BTEC Music Technology and the identification of academic skills gaps of these students. The expectation of the students emphasised their creative development at HE level, but not academic development. Results of the research were to identify and improve the expectation gap between students and tutors.
