This clip is an evaluation of the requirements of DL students. Joanne identifies how to manage the expectations of DL students from an academic point of view. She emphasises the necessity for clarity of course expectations of the students and the establishment of definite boundaries for interaction.  Joanne outlines a series of ‘Tips’ to organise this online learning, including the necessity for keeping up to date and interaction with the technical support. Ian outlines the importance of developing a synchronous system across DMU to give a consistency of provision for the increasing number of Distance Learners and their teaching staff.
